The Colonel Light Gardens Sports and Social Club is an incorporated association affiliated with the South Australian Amateur Football League (for seniors) and with the Metro South Junior Football League (for juniors).
The club has a strong history of success with A Grade Premierships in 1927, 1929, 1932, 1949, 1962, 1983, 1989, 1993, 1995, 2007.
In addition to Senior A, B and C Grade teams, Colonel Light Gardens also fields junior sides in U7, U8,U9, U9 Girls, U11, U11 Girls, U12, U13, U14, U15 and levels in 2023.
Colonel Light Gardens also provides for future footballers and their families through the popular Auskick program.
